Our Mission

Our mission is to make cutting-edge pharmacy and AI research accessible, digestible, and actionable for busy pharmacists. We believe that staying informed about the latest developments in AI and pharmacy shouldn't require hours of reading through dense academic papers.

By leveraging AI tools, we can process and summarize more articles than would be possible manually, ensuring you never miss important developments in your field. However, we're transparent about our use of AI—treat our summaries as conversation starters and exploration tools, not definitive interpretations.

How We Work

Creating The Dose each week involves a multi-step process that combines AI automation with human expertise:

  1. Discovery: We use AI tools to scan PubMed and other medical databases for the latest articles relevant to pharmacy and AI.
  2. Selection: Our team reviews and selects articles that are most relevant and valuable to practicing pharmacists.
  3. Summarization: AI tools help us create concise summaries of each article, highlighting key findings, methods, and implications.
  4. Review: All content is reviewed by our team to ensure accuracy and relevance before publication.
  5. Enhancement: We add tags, create podcast summaries, and set up NotebookLM sessions to help you explore topics interactively.

While AI plays a significant role in our workflow, human oversight ensures that the content remains accurate, relevant, and valuable to our readers.
